In Paris, boutiques flock in all directions, and among them is a group of “cool kids”, at the cutting edge of consumer trends. Here, we give you a guide to organizing a shopping trip through the best of them.
Merci, the iconic Parisian concept-store where you can stroll through every floor and mezzanine, needs no introduction. From bedding to tableware, fashion and accessories, you could spend hours here. What’s more, it’s located in the Marais district, central during Fashion Week, so it could well be on your way between two showrooms!
Fleux is the must-visit Parisian concept store, a name familiar to anyone who has ever shopped in the Marais. Here you’ll find a breathtaking selection of sensitive, poetic, free-spirited products. We love it! With 4 side-by-side boutiques, each imbued with its own unique universe, you’re bound to find what you’re looking for!
Assouline books have made a name for themselves with their sumptuous design, and more than just books, they’re real objects of decoration! If you’d like to buy a book that will take you on a journey, or simply admire it, we recommend you drop by their boutique in St Germain des Près. Afterwards, you could even enjoy a hot drink in the new Ralph Lauren café that recently opened in this neighborhood.
Ten years after inaugurating its first stores in the United States, the famous American concept store Kith has set up shop in Paris. Its 16,000m2 flagship is located in the heart of the Golden Triangle, in the prestigious Pershing Hall hotel. On offer: a vast selection of ultra-trendy sneakers, a restaurant called Sadelle’s, and several floors dedicated to ready-to-wear for men, women and children. There’s also a cereal and ice-cream bar called “Kith Treats”, with creations inspired by the likes of the late Virgil Abloh and Sarah Andelman.
Finally, in the heart of the famous department store “La Samaritaine”, nestles loulou’s boutique on the first floor. Impossible to leave empty-handed, the spirit of the famous store is reflected in a superb selection of objects.
